Historic Garden Stroll

9:30 am to 12:00 pm

Get your tickets here: https://givebutter.com/gardenstroll

Enjoy a leisurely Saturday morning exploring the gardens of historic Downtown Summerville. The Historic Garden Stroll will kick off with a sneak peek of the forthcoming Azalea Park Children's Garden. The garden, a service project led by the 2024 Leadership Dorchester class, will feature a variety of nature, music and art-inspired pieces for current and future generations of children to enjoy. As a garden stroll guest, you will be among the first to see this exciting project, which will be completed in late Fall 2024.

After checking in at Azalea Park, walk or take the golf cart shuttle to four nearby historic homes of Summerville for an exclusive opportunity to tour their private gardens. Each residential garden will welcome you with live music, refreshments, and small bites as you immerse yourself in the beauty of the surrounding architecture and gardens.

All ticket proceeds benefit the Leadership Dorchester Class of 2024’s service project, the Azalea Park Children's Garden. Opportunities to donate to specific garden installations will also be available.

This event is rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable.

Check-in location: Azalea Park, 105 W. 5th S St.

We are excited to invite you to complete a survey that will reveal which tools employers most desire when recruiting and retaining talent. South Carolina is developing a new statewide education and workforce portal—a centralized platform to help employers connect with talent, training resources, and workforce development partners. Your input is critical in shaping the features of this portal to best meet the needs of businesses like yours. This survey will help us identify the most valuable features for employers and how the portal can complement or enhance your existing tools. Your feedback will directly influence the development and prioritization of key features. The survey is open and will close by EOB on Monday, November 10, 2025 . It should take approximately five (5) minutes to complete. SURVEY CAN BE FOUND HERE: Employer/Industry Association Survey Once you’ve completed the survey, we encourage you to share the link with others who may also be interested in providing feedback.
