SUMMERVILLE, S.C., January 31, 2020 – The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce’s award program is designed to recognize the dedication, achievement and entrepreneurial spirit displayed by exceptional local businesses, nonprofits and individuals. Recipients of the 2019 Chamber Awards were announced at the Chamber’s Member Appreciation and Awards Celebration presented by First National Bank of South Carolina held at Middleton Place on January 30, 2020.

Congratulations to the 2019 Chamber Small Business of the Year, Miler Properties. Miler Properties is a full-service real estate and property management company, specializing in the selling and listing of residential and commercial real estate; residential rentals, property management and commercial leasing; HOA management and land development. The Miler family has been offering these professional services for over 45 years, and became Miler Properties, Inc. in 1985.

Their vision, company goals, and outstanding people is what sets them apart. They have an unbelievable team of caring professionals that work together and treat each other more like family than fellow employees. They are a faith-based company that seeks to serve others, strives to create a "win-win" environment in business transactions, stays current in an ever-changing business climate, and believes that good old-fashioned common sense and respect are never out of style.

When asked what is their “why” – they answered this: “Simple answer: We love what we do! We believe that we are more of a "housing ministry" than a real estate company. Our customers become our friends. We deeply care that we honor the Lord with the level of service, integrity and stewardship that we offer. We understand that what we lease or sell may just be an apartment or a house, but for those we serve, it will soon be their home. And most importantly, at the end of the day, our objective is that He gets the glory.”
