Knead Therapy Massage and Bodywork Celebrates Milestone

Knead Therapy Massage and Bodywork is celebrating its Five Year Anniversary on February 1, 2026!

What started out on a vision board in 2012 is now a thriving business, creating jobs for Summerville and helping to heal our Flower Town in the Pines, one body at a time.

We are so grateful for the love and support from both the Chamber and our Community!

At Knead Therapy, the mission is to foster a compassionate environment for promoting wellness through skilled and empathetic bodyworkers. They believe that everybody needs to be kneaded™️and this core belief is reflected in the level of consistent care provided.

Owner and lead Massage Therapist Catherine Shreve has been licensed and practicing massage therapy since 2012. She was first licensed in Nevada where she worked at the World Series of Poker Tournaments as well as Massage Heights. Catherine moved with her three  children to Summerville in 2013.

She has worked with families to provide regular massage care for their dependent-living loved ones. Catherine is passionate about her work and specializes in Swedish and deep tissue massages. Finding those aches that just won't go away and working them until they dissolve and you feel refreshed and AHHHmazing is her superpower.

"Helping people feel better is what I do. Whether its mentally or physically, I know in my heart, that massage is what you knead."
