Dorchester County Board of Elections Announces Upcoming 2025 Municipal General Election and State House District 98 Primary

Everything You Need to Know for the Municipal and District 98 Elections

The Dorchester County Board of Elections announces important dates and information for the upcoming Municipal General Election and State House District 98 Primary. Elections will include the State House District 98 Primary and the following municipalities:


  • Town of Harleyville
  • Town of Reevesville
  • Town of Ridgeville
  • Town of St. George
  • Town of Summerville


The Early Voting will be held from Monday, Oct. 20 to Friday, Oct. 31, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Locations will be closed on Saturdays and Sundays.


The following locations are available for early voting:


  • Rollins Edwards Community Center (301 N Hickory Street, Summerville)
  • St. George Middle School (600 Minus Street, St. George)
  • Wescott Park (9006 Dorchester Road, North Charleston)


General Election Day will be held on November 4, 2025. Polls will open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at voters’ assigned polling location.
