The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce that applications for our annual scholarships are now open. The application deadline is Friday, March 27, 2026.

This scholarship program, presented in partnership with Robert Bosch, LLC, is an initiative of the Chamber’s Education and Workforce Development Division, whose mission is to improve our workforce and meet the challenges of global competition and rapidly evolving technology.

Scholarship Details

Each year, the Chamber and Bosch award four scholarships to graduating seniors:

  • Two $1,000 STEM scholarships for students attending a four-year college or university in South Carolina pursuing Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math majors.

  • Two $500 scholarships for students attending an accredited two-year technical college in South Carolina

  • The Chamber is pleased to announce that, in partnership with The Cameron Connor Memorial Foundation, we will award two $500 scholarships to two 2026 graduating seniors from Dorchester County who will attend an accredited four-year college or university in South Carolina. All majors are welcome to apply. To qualify, applicants must be graduating seniors from Dorchester County or graduating seniors of member business owners/employees in good standing with the Chamber.

A Legacy of Giving Back

Since 2011, when Robert Bosch, LLC joined as a co-sponsor, the Chamber and Bosch have awarded scholarships annually. Together, we’ve raised more than $70,000 to support students in our community, thanks to contributions from Chamber members and fundraising efforts such as our 50/50 raffles at Business After Hours events.
