SC House honors Chamber

In the Resolution, South Carolina  House of Representative members recognized and honored the Chamber for a century of advocating for business and serving the community. 

This month during the Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce Business After Hours, Representatives Gil Gatch and Robby Robbins presented the Chamber with a House Resolution to honor the Chamber for 100 years of service to the community. 


In the Resolution, South Carolina  House of Representative members recognized and honored the Chamber for a century of advocating for business and serving the community. 


On April 26, 1922, the Summerville Business Men’s League voted to become the Summerville Chamber of Commerce. Since then, the Chamber has championed education, workforce development, business, and tourism for the community.


Board members at the Business After Hours event at Summerville Medical Center officially accepted the Resolution.
