The FastTrac program provides an opportunity for success in business or nonprofit organizations.

SUMMERVILLE, SC—Lisle Consulting Group (LCG), a business operations and economic development consulting firm based in Summerville, SC, was recently named a FastTrac affiliate by the Ewing Marion Kauffman Foundation.

Since 1993, the Kauffman Foundation has offered FastTrac, an educational program aimed at helping entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners, including nonprofit founders, develop plans to create and successfully operate the business of their dreams, in face-to-face, virtual, and hybrid formats.

The program takes a cohort of 10-20 entrepreneurs and business owners through a curriculum that addresses all aspects of business ownership, from developing the idea for a business through the topics of market research, positioning, pricing, legal strategies, marketing, sales and distribution, financial management, staffing, and creating organizational leadership and culture.

The program culminates with the development of a business plan, the creation of an elevator pitch, and the completion of the Lean Canvas Model, a one-page document that provides potential investors and partners an overview of the key components of the business.

The founder and principal of LCG, Mike Lisle, is a veteran facilitator of FastTrac, having led multiple cohorts of entrepreneurs, nonprofit leaders, and small business owners through the curriculum.

“The FastTrac program provides entrepreneurs and early-stage business owners a fantastic opportunity to learn with, and from, one another as they create a blueprint for success in their business or nonprofit organization,” said Lisle. “The opportunity to explore every aspect of your business or idea, from its position in the marketplace to how to operate it from a financial and human resources standpoint, is incredibly valuable.”

LCG will offer FastTrac in a 12-week hybrid format schedule throughout the Charleston metro region. For more information about hosting or joining a FastTrac cohort, contact LCG at [email protected].
