SUMMERVILLE, S.C. — The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the addition of Katelyn Wagers as its new Director of Investor Relations.
In her new role, Wagers will oversee membership services while working closely with Chamber
investors to strengthen relationships, connect businesses with valuable resources, and help members
maximize the benefits of their Chamber investment.
"Katelyn already understands the value of the Chamber because she experienced it firsthand as one
of our Chamber Ambassadors," said Rita Berry, President/CEO of the Greater
Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce. "She has a genuine passion for building
relationships, serving others, and connecting people with opportunities."
Wagers earned a Bachelor of Arts in Marketing from Georgia Southwestern State University and spent
eight years in industrial sales before transitioning into nonprofit development. Her experience in
relationship building, combined with her passion for community engagement, makes her a natural fit
for the Chamber.
After serving as a Chamber Ambassador over the past year, Wagers wanted to become more involved
in advancing the Chamber's mission of supporting local businesses and strengthening the community.
"I've seen firsthand the impact the Chamber has on businesses throughout our region," said Wagers.
"I'm honored to join this incredible team and look forward to helping our members build meaningful

Originally from Griffin, Georgia, Wagers and her husband, David, are the proud parents of two
