"Every donation helps us get closer to our goal of providing affordable housing to families who need it most."

Summerville, SC – Dorchester Habitat for Humanity is excited to announce its upcoming "Stuff the Truck" event, set to take place on Saturday, July 27, from 10 AM to 2 PM at the Lowe's Home Improvement store located at 9600 Dorchester Road. This event is a wonderful opportunity for community members to come together and support the mission of providing suitable and affordable housing in our area.

The community is invited to join Dorchester Habitat on Saturday, July 27, and bring their gently used items to donate to the Dorchester Habitat ReStore.  Contributions help fund the construction of homes for families in need, making a significant impact in our community.

"We are thrilled to host the 'Stuff the Truck' event and are grateful to Lowe's for their support," said Edward Brockington, ReStore Manager at Dorchester Habitat for Humanity. "Every donation helps us get closer to our goal of providing affordable housing to families who need it most."

Dorchester Habitat ReStore accepts a variety of gently used items, including:

  • Appliances
  • Building supplies
  • Furniture
  • Clothing
  • Electronics
  • And more!

By donating these items, the community is not only supporting Dorchester Habitat's mission but also promoting sustainability by giving their gently used items a second life.
