Dorchester Habitat Announces Interest Meetings for Homeownership Program

Meetings will provide detailed information about the program.

SUMMERVILLE, SC – Dorchester Habitat for Humanity, Inc. is excited to announce a critical opportunity for local individuals and families seeking affordable housing solutions through its Homeownership Program. To receive an application, all interested parties must attend one of the scheduled mandatory interest meetings.


These meetings will provide detailed information about the program, including eligibility criteria, application requirements, and the benefits of partnering with Dorchester Habitat to achieve the dream of homeownership.


Mandatory Interest Meeting Schedule:

  • Friday, January 10th: 1:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 16th: 12:00 p.m.
  • Monday, January 20th: 12:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday, January 28th: 1:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, February 8th: 10:00 a.m. and 12:00 p.m.


All meetings will take place in person at Dorchester Habitat for Humanity located at 101 Greyback Road, Summerville, SC

The Homeownership Program offers a hand-up, not a handout, to individuals and families who are willing to invest sweat equity and complete financial education as part of their partnership with Habitat for Humanity.
