The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce is proud to announce that applications for the 2026–2027 Chamber Ambassador Program will officially open on Monday, April 20.

Chamber Ambassadors serve as dedicated volunteers and trusted advocates for the Chamber’s mission. Selected from among Chamber member professionals, Ambassadors play an important role in helping strengthen our business community by acting as champions of the Chamber, supporting its initiatives, and connecting fellow members.

As highly visible representatives of the organization, Ambassadors work to engage current members, foster meaningful connections, and help businesses maximize the value of their Chamber membership. Whether welcoming new members, attending ribbon cuttings, supporting networking events, or assisting with member outreach, Ambassadors are often among the first faces members encounter when engaging with the Chamber.

Beyond serving the organization, the Ambassador Program offers participants valuable professional development and networking opportunities. Ambassadors gain unique access to connect with fellow Chamber members, elected officials, community leaders, and influential business stakeholders throughout the region. The program also provides participants with increased visibility for their own businesses through regular involvement in Chamber events and initiatives.

Applications for the upcoming term will remain open through May 1, with interviews scheduled shortly thereafter.
