AMERICAN COLLEGE OF THE BUILDING ARTS EXPANDS CAMPUS ON PENINSULA

The American College of the Building Arts has purchased a ±6,000 SF building located at 1084 King Street on ±0.32 AC for the expansion of the Blacksmithing Department.

CHARLESTON, SC – October 2023 – NAI Charleston is pleased to announce that The American College of the Building Arts has purchased a ±6,000 SF building located at 1084 King Street on ±0.32 AC for the expansion of the Blacksmithing Department.

 

Thomas Boulware, SIOR, CCIM of NAI Charleston represented the seller, 1804 King Street CHS, LLC. Drayton Calmes of Norvell Real Estate Group represented The American College of the Building Arts.

“We are thrilled to be taking over 1084 King Street, the future home of our great Blacksmithing specialization,” said Chad Urban, the Chief Financial Officer of ACBA. “This program's expansion continues the wonderful tradition of Charleston ironwork. Our goal is to have the new facility ready for classes beginning August 2024.
