Family-owned Landscaping Business Expands Statewide with Rebrand

COLUMBIA, S.C. [May 15, 2024] - Heritage, a leader in outdoor services and sustainable landscape

solutions for businesses of all sizes in South Carolina, introduced its new brand and revamped website

today.

For nearly 40 years, Heritage Landscaping Services has been a trusted company serving businesses in

South Carolina. As the company has evolved and expanded its services, a rebrand to simply ‘Heritage’

reflects the company’s newest offerings and how they go beyond traditional landscaping installation and

maintenance.

“As we expand across South Carolina, we will continue to offer our quality services with the personalized

touch my family has proudly focused on since 1986,” said Ashley McLeod, President of Heritage. “With

the new brand and advanced services along with our expansion into other parts of the state, it is an

exciting time for our company. We look forward to exceeding expectations for new and existing clients.”

In addition to traditional landscaping, Heritage’s expert-designed solutions include sustainable services

such as biodiversity, connecting people with green spaces, native plants, water management and

air/noise pollution reduction. These services are customized to meet companies’ net-zero, water-positive

and zero-waste goals.

“With immense growth over the past decade, we remain dedicated to our strong values-based culture

that guides our team daily,” said Kleck Harman, Vice President of Heritage. “We’re proud to welcome our

family’s third generation into the business and develop our services to provide top-notch solutions for

our clients.”

As Heritages extends its roots from the Midlands to the Lowcountry and the Upstate, the company

strives to foster new, long-term relationships with a priority on safety, sustainability and quality for all

clients along with hiring local talent.

We are excited to invite you to complete a survey that will reveal which tools employers most desire when recruiting and retaining talent. South Carolina is developing a new statewide education and workforce portal—a centralized platform to help employers connect with talent, training resources, and workforce development partners. Your input is critical in shaping the features of this portal to best meet the needs of businesses like yours. This survey will help us identify the most valuable features for employers and how the portal can complement or enhance your existing tools. Your feedback will directly influence the development and prioritization of key features. The survey is open and will close by EOB on Monday, November 10, 2025 . It should take approximately five (5) minutes to complete. SURVEY CAN BE FOUND HERE: Employer/Industry Association Survey Once you’ve completed the survey, we encourage you to share the link with others who may also be interested in providing feedback.
