Scholarships

The Chamber, in partnership with Robert Bosch, awards four scholarships each year to graduating seniors; two $1,000 four-year college STEM scholarships and two $500 technical college scholarships.  


To qualify, the graduating seniors must be from Dorchester County or graduating seniors of member business owners/employees that are in good standing with the Chamber. 
The Chamber Student Scholarship is funded by donations from our Chamber membership that is collected through monthly 50/50 drawings at our Business After Hours events, Golf Tournament string and game sales, and various other fundraising methods.

Service Area

The Greater Summerville/Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce service area has no specific boundaries. Any company that is either located or has a business presence within the greater Summerville or Dorchester areas are invited and encouraged to be a part of the Chamber.
