This is the firm’s fourth year in a row as No.1.

Pinnacle Financial Partners was named the No. 1 Top Workplace in South Carolina in the medium-sized companies category by South Carolina Top Workplaces, as announced today in Greenville Business MagazineCharleston Business Magazine and Columbia Business Monthly. It is the sixth time Pinnacle has placed in the rankings and the firm’s fourth year in a row as No.1. Previous rankings were No. 5 in 2019 and No. 7 in 2020.

Pinnacle associates in South Carolina have consistently given their workplace culture high marks. They had this to say on the firm’s annual anonymous survey:

  • “At Pinnacle I feel valued, seen and like I make a difference not just with my fellow associates but with clients as well. I have more than enough opportunity to grow and the best support to make that happen from my team and leader.”

  •  “Not only do I believe Pinnacle cares about me, but they really care about our clients. We are able to help our clients and make decisions that are best for both the bank and the client.”

  •  “Pinnacle is truly a great place to work. My career/workplace is my home away from home.”

Pinnacle’s vision from day one has been to be the best financial services firm and the best place to work in the Southeast, and that’s only possible when associates are fully engaged in making it a reality.

“Awards and recognition like these are indicative of one of the cornerstones of our ongoing success,” said Mary Garcia, Pinnacle’s regional president on the South Carolina Coast. “By being the best place to work for experienced financial services professionals, we attract and retain the very best in our industry. And associates who love their jobs tend to make clients happy.”

Upstate Regional President Will Hodge added, “Our associates are the best, and so it’s no surprise that they helped make us one of the best places to work in the entire state. I’m humbled that our teams in the Upstate and on the coast love and believe in this company as much as I do.”

The Top Workplaces list is based on anonymous employee surveys and research from Energage, a leading provider of employee engagement tools. The surveys measure several aspects of workplace culture, including alignment, execution, connection and more.
