Looking for ways to enhance workplace well-being?

Join MUSC Business Health for Wellness Wednesday. As part of Business Health's wellness service offerings, Wellness Wednesday creates an opportunity for organizations to enhance worksite well-being efforts by offering free wellness education to employee populations.

The theme for each month's Wellness Wednesday campaign is based on national health observance topics ranging from heart health to weight management to mental health and more. By joining our mailing list, you will receive our e-newsletter on the first Wednesday of each month highlighting that month’s health topic.

On the second Wednesday of each month, you are invited to attend our virtual live lunch-and-learn session led by an MUSC Health expert from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m.

Anyone can subscribe to receive Wellness Wednesday communications and we encourage employers to share lunch-and-learn information with their workforce and community partners. Employees can enjoy attending classes with their colleagues by reserving meeting rooms each month, or they can attend from their desks. Individuals can attend the classes virtually in real-time or they catch up at a later date through the posted recordings on the Business Health website https://muschealth.org/medicalservices/business-health/employer-resources/wellness-education.

An archive of educational classes is available for viewing on the website.

Topics include heart health, virtual urgent care, prioritizing self-care, and healthy eating on a budget.

We encourage you to join us for our upcoming class on August 10th , “Leading with Empathy: Strategies for Creating a Culture of Wellness at Work” with Dr. Lauren Carter from Modern Minds.

Anyone can subscribe!

We are excited to invite you to complete a survey that will reveal which tools employers most desire when recruiting and retaining talent. South Carolina is developing a new statewide education and workforce portal—a centralized platform to help employers connect with talent, training resources, and workforce development partners. Your input is critical in shaping the features of this portal to best meet the needs of businesses like yours. This survey will help us identify the most valuable features for employers and how the portal can complement or enhance your existing tools. Your feedback will directly influence the development and prioritization of key features. The survey is open and will close by EOB on Monday, November 10, 2025 . It should take approximately five (5) minutes to complete. SURVEY CAN BE FOUND HERE: Employer/Industry Association Survey Once you’ve completed the survey, we encourage you to share the link with others who may also be interested in providing feedback.
