S.C. Employer Child Care Tax Credit Survey
South Carolina currently offers a state income tax credit to employers for offering child care programs. The credit applies to operating a program and providing direct payments to a licensed childcare facility.
Utilization of the credit is currently low compared to other state tax credits. State leaders want to understand why.
