Chamber and Journal Scene partner for candidate forum

Rebecca Collett • September 28, 2022

Residents are invited to submit their questions ahead of the forum

The Chamber, in partnership with the Summerville Journal Scene, is hosting a candidate forum on October 25 from 5pm until 8pm.

All the candidates from Dorchester County Council and the SC House of Representatives for the region are being invited to participate.

Candidates will be asked a set of questions related to their individual races. This is a time for the candidates to share their point of view on specific issues facing their constituents. This is not a debate.

This forum, being held at the Faith Sellers Senior Center (312 N. Laurel St), is free and open to the public.
Registration is preferred.

We are asking the community to submit their questions before October 15. The candidates will not be given the questions in advance.

We cannot guarantee all questions will be asked at the event.
