Veris, LLC, a full-service CPA firm specializing in proactive services for accounting, audit, tax, and outsourced CFO, is pleased to announce the promotion of Chris Kerr and Jenara Noel to Partners of the firm. Veris is a leading South Carolina-based CPA firm and is now comprised of 5 Partners.

With the addition of Chris and Jenara, they round out our partnership team, which now includes Partners in each of our main service divisions: Audit, Client Accounting Services, and Tax. Kerr and Noel will join Partners Melissa Kiddy, Justin Kiddy, and Russell Deal.

Chris Kerr, CPA, MAcc joined Veris in 2017 as the firm’s Audit Manager. His impressive audit and management skills quickly moved him up the ranks. He has grown the Audit department significantly in his tenure, and provides exceptional proactive services to our clients, which made him a natural fit as Partner. Kerr is based out of the Mount Pleasant office and specializes in audit services for non-profit and for-profit businesses. He has more than thirteen years of experience in regional and national public accounting firms. In addition to conducting audits, reviews, and compilations, Kerr has experience with complex entity structures, consolidations, employee benefit plans, and mergers and acquisitions.

Originally from Akron, Ohio, Kerr received his Master of Science in Accounting from Kent State University (2009) and his Bachelor of Science in Accounting degree from Kent State University (2007).

Outside of his professional life, he enjoys being a foodie sampling local cuisine, and exploring the outdoors with his wife Rachel and their 2-year-old son, Cameron. The Kerr’s are expecting twins in April and big brother Cameron will welcome a brother and a sister.

Jenara Noel, CPA, MBA joined Veris in 2015 as an Associate. Her expertise and knowledge of charter schools and non-profit businesses in the Client Accounting Services (CAS) arena quickly made her a stand-out and is a well-known resource in those industries. She is proficient in providing real-time outsourced accounting and General Ledger management services. Noel has managed and grown the CAS department with profound knowledge and steadfast dedication, making her the perfect candidate for Partnership. Noel is based out of the Mount Pleasant office and specializes in client accounting, financial reporting, data mining, and accounting software migrations, as well as providing assistance for management decisions and maintaining client relationships. She moves into this role with more than sixteen years of accounting experience.

Originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana, Noel received her Master of Business Administration from The Citadel (2009) and her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Limestone College (2007).

A homebody at heart, she loves spending time with her family, trying new recipes, or traveling with her son’s soccer team. Wedding bells will be ringing for Noel this year!
