The Town is interested in receiving feedback from stakeholders

The Town of Summerville is considering adding equipment to begin charging users to park in the Town’s parking garage. The Town is interested in receiving feedback from stakeholders that use the garage on a regular basis.

A  forum is set for Tuesday, July 19, to receive feedback at Summerville Town Hall. The forum will be held in Council Chambers at 3:00 pm.

The forum will cover expenses the Town has incurred in recent years for repairs as well as annual expenses needed to maintain the garage, according to the Town Engineer and Director of Public Works Russ Cornette.  A representative from the company that would install the equipment and all the potential payment options for using the garage has also been invited to participate.

A second meeting is set for the Chamber’s Downtown Council for Wednesday, August 3.

If you can't attend either meeting,
please contact us with your comments and concerns, and we will share them with the Town.
