Business and community leaders unite to discuss the policies shaping our region’s economic future.

Legislative Luncheon  Presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners

The Greater Summerville Dorchester County Chamber of Commerce recently hosted its annual Legislative Luncheon presented by Pinnacle Financial Partners.

The event brought together business and community leaders for an engaging conversation on the policies and priorities shaping the region’s economic future.

This year’s keynote address was delivered by U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham, who shared insights on national and state issues affecting South Carolina’s business climate, infrastructure development, and future needs.

Attendees also heard updates from state officials, emphasizing collaboration between government and the private sector to ensure continued growth across Dorchester County.

The Chamber extends sincere appreciation to Pinnacle Financial Partners for their generous support and to all who joined us for this important dialogue connecting policy and progress.

Special thanks to Anna McSwain for the event photography.

We are excited to invite you to complete a survey that will reveal which tools employers most desire when recruiting and retaining talent. South Carolina is developing a new statewide education and workforce portal—a centralized platform to help employers connect with talent, training resources, and workforce development partners. Your input is critical in shaping the features of this portal to best meet the needs of businesses like yours. This survey will help us identify the most valuable features for employers and how the portal can complement or enhance your existing tools. Your feedback will directly influence the development and prioritization of key features. The survey is open and will close by EOB on Monday, November 10, 2025 . It should take approximately five (5) minutes to complete. SURVEY CAN BE FOUND HERE: Employer/Industry Association Survey Once you’ve completed the survey, we encourage you to share the link with others who may also be interested in providing feedback.
